    Development of North Eastern Region (Independent Charge)

    Assigned in the 9 November 2014 reallocation and kept in the 2019 allocation. It was not among his portfolios in the 7 July 2021 communiqué. Documented DoNER-era activity includes the North East Venture Fund, set up by NEDFi with ₹100 crore committed (reported August 2018); COVID-19 gap funding of ₹25 crore for North Eastern states (March 2020); and 17 bamboo projects worth ₹134 crore (September 2020).
